Laverne DeFazio
Laverne is a very unique gal. She wears a curlyque L patch on all of her clothing (in one episode her spacesuit even). She also loves to drink the unusual combination of milk and pepsi. Her roomate is Shirley Feeney who also happens to be her best friend. Her dad is Frank DeFazio. Laverne is played by Penny Marshall.
Shirley Feeney
Shirley is a very proper woman (most of the time) and is nothing like her wild roomate Laverne (well maybe a little bit) though the two are best friends. Shirley loves her little kitty doll, Boo Boo Kitty. Her boyfriends include Carmine "The Big Ragu" Ragusa, and her husband (in the 8th season) Walter Meaney, and a few others. Played by Cindy Williams
Andrew 'Squiggy' Squiggmann
Andrew Squiggy Squiggman is the annoying leader of the 2 person friendship between hiself and Lenny who is also his roomate. Squiggy and his friend Lenny have always been Laverne and Shirley's neighbors, from Milwuakee to Burbank. Squiggy was once mistaken for a russian ballet performer. Played by David L. Lander.
Leonard 'Lenny' Kosnowski
Lenny Kosnowski is a very complex guy. He is the dim witted sidekick of roomate Andrew Squiggman (if you can tell their intellegence levels apart) but still one of the great characters. One time he put on L on his shirt just like Laverne. (even though it stood for Lone wolf). Played by Micheal McKean. See Squiggy for more.
Carmine 'The Big Ragu' Ragusa
Carmine dated Shirley for a long time until she met Walter Meaney. The Big Ragu (mostly known as Carmine) stayed friends with Laverne and Sheryl even after their breakup. When Shirley left to follow Walter Meaney overseas he still was a regular on the show. Played by Eddie Mekka.
Frank DeFazio
Frank DeFazio is Laverne's father who never lived far away from the two roomates. When they moved to Burbank, CA Mr. DeFazio opened up his own restaurant called Cowboy Bill's. His wife is Edna Babbish-DeFazio. Played by Phil Foster.
Edna Babbish-DeFazio
Edna met her nowday husband Frank DeFazio when Laverne and Shirley rented an apartment from her. She left him in season 8. Played by Betty Garrett
Rhonda Lee
We meet Rhonda Lee when the girls move to Burbank, CA. We soon find out how weird Rhonda is. She often reffers to herself as Rhonda (ex. Rhonda is feeling faint, instead of, I am feeling faint). She is also always auditioning for movies. Played by Leslie Easterbrook.
